Visited a friend in hospital / rehab ✓
Voted (State Election) ✓
Wigs Purchased ✓
Baby Shower ✓
Office Christmas Party ✓
Shopping for random *must have* stuff. ✓
Cooking (Bailey’s + Tim Tam Balls) for family pre HSCT Christmas Lunch ✓
Schnauzer Groomed ✓
Canary Cage Cleaned ✓
Friend catch-ups ✓
Neighbours dropping in at 9:00pm and opening a bottle of bubbles till 11:00pm ✓
Now I just need to survive family dinner, clean the house for the house sitter, probably repack, collect new specs and put in a health insurance claim, then attend my nieces graduation and I’m done.
I’ve achieved all this with the help of my sisters, nieces and a few dear friends. Mwah. xo
As I toddle slowly along and get shit done it’s exhausting but it reaffirms that I’m keen to put my MS back into submission and get on with my life without debilitating MS holding me back.
I know I’ll be a basket case at the airport as I’mm a crier by nature, I was reminded that crying and getting emotional is just a physical reminder of what’s most important to me… Health, family, friends and home.
In just a few days I surrender to the care of the pilot and cabin crew to get me safely to Moscow and into the warm care of Dr. Fedorenko and crew in a chilly Moscow.
Then I nap.
